Brielle Elliott is a Senior Agri-Business Scholar at Florida A&M University.
Born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, by way of Long Island, New York, Brielle knows a thing or two about adapting in the face of change. Brielle is passionate about agricultural and financial literacy, service learning, and connecting across cultural boundaries. As an 1890 Scholar, Brielle will realize her passion for giving back to her community by using her educational and professional experience to engage with local farmers and communities through the USDA after graduation.
Brielle’s interests include reading, writing, listening to music, and traveling. She prioritizes taking trips both in and out of the country as often as she can.
As a Career Peer Educator, Brielle is eager to serve and engage with other students who seek to strive toward their professional aspirations while in school and beyond graduation with the Career and Professional Development Center.

Mya Looney is a Biomedical Engineering student in the joint FAMU–FSU College of
Engineering at Florida A&M University.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Mya values growth, connection, and building community
wherever she goes. She is passionate about health equity and is interested in how innovation can
improve access and outcomes in healthcare.
Mya serves on the E-Board of the Society of Women Engineers and is a member of Chicago
Club at FAMU.
Outside of campus involvement, she enjoys gaming, trying new foods, and exploring new
experiences.
As a Career Peer Educator, Mya genuinely looks forward to helping students feel more confident
in their career journeys and supporting them as they take steps toward their professional goals.

Born and raised in the city, she attended FAMU’s K-12 school, FAMU DRS, and takes pride in being part of a family with generations of Rattlers. Kaila is passionate about marketing, with a focus on digital and social media marketing, and aspires to make an impact in this dynamic field. An extrovert at heart, she loves meeting new people and thrives on building meaningful connections.
