If you are interested in a career in pharmaceutical sciences, The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (COPPS) has a rich history of producing high-caliber graduates capable of providing exceptional pharmaceutical care. This unique program focuses on academic excellence, research superiority, and community service which allows us to prepare students for leading roles in the practice of pharmacy, research, and public health. 

What does Professional Development (PD) look like for Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Studies:

Your PD will vary based upon your specific major. In addition, the top skills needed within the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences fields include Reading comprehension, active listening, critical thinking, instructing, and monitoring. Abilities that are helpful to have are oral comprehension, written comprehension, near vision, oral expression, and problem sensitivity. Some typical work activities may include: updating and using relevant knowledge, getting information from relevant sources, interacting with computers, processing information, and documenting and recording information.
