Welcome to FAMU’s Science and Technology Community!

About Science and Technology:

The College of Science and Technology houses the following departments: Biology, Chemistry, Computer and Information Sciences, and Physics. Students will gain relevant techniques and pedagogy to strengthen their capability in solving problems independently, thereby producing responsible citizens focused on contributing to science and technology to enhance society.

What does Professional Development (PD) look like for Science and Technology:

Meet with your Career Liaison and Academic Adviser as much as possible. Please attend the workshops and webinars that are hosted by the Career and Professional Development Center. In addition to that, please join student organizations related to STEM as well as others on campuses. Start seeking internships as early as your first year and attending the STEM and FAMU all majors’ career expo. In addition to that, begin to network and find mentors. Get involved with doing research as well. Get to know your professors.
