The Assistant Intern will be responsible for providing administrative support to the owner of Virgin Mary Hair Boutique, a luxury Raw hair online boutique located in San Diego, CA. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is interested in the beauty or medical device industry OR someone wants to learn the ins and outs of running a successful business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the owner, including managing email and phone communication, and organizing documents and computer files
- Work directly with CEO to coordinate online events and marketing materials social media
- Help with organizing stock and storage organization
- Work directly with the CEO to build relationship with local hair salons and stores to create partnerships
- Help with miscellaneous tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the boutique
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative thinker with a passion for the beauty, medical sales or business ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently, self lead and proactive
- Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- High Vibrational person who always looks at the glass half full
- Creative mind that is ready to come with new ideas and be committed
This is a part-time internship position, requiring a commitment of at least 10- 15 hours per week. We are looking for two people. Both will be remote, but 1 will need to be local and we will occasionally have in person meetings to go over big projects and events we have coming up. These meeting will be over dinner or lunch covered by us. The intern will report to the CEO of Virgin Mary Hair Boutique and be working directly with her. The intern will receive regular feedback and guidance throughout the internship. There are opportunities for growth and to be hired on.
