We are looking for an energetic self-starter who wants to make contributions to our Learning and Organization Development Team by coordinating and supporting Learning and Organization Development programs and operations. Our Learning and Organization Development Team is responsible for employee experience, engagement, leadership development, and learning operations, within a dynamic and distributed work environment.
We are seeking a 50% time Learning and Organization Development Coordinator, for a 6-month fixed-term reporting to the Manager of Learning and Organization Development (L&OD) This position will have a central role on our Learning and Organization Development Team by providing end-to-end support and operational execution of a wide range of L&OD programs and initiatives. Participating in program marketing, enrollment, measurement, reporting, systems, budget planning/reconciliation and continuous improvement are core elements to the job, with room for great ideas, innovation and aspirational goals. Duties include:
- Run reports associated with established metrics. Report on emerging trends not specifically requested by program manager.
- Identify vendors and administer the procurement and vendor contracting process. Work with the vendors to coordinate timely completion of contracts, submission of bills, and payment.
- Draft marketing materials, emails, and other types of correspondence.
- Schedule related logistics of trainings and programs. Negotiate cost and assure quality of materials, supplies, and end-to-end services.
- Create, implement, and manage a process for registration.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience with platforms such as Canvas, Coursera, Qualtrics, Asana, Canva, LearnMed or other instructional design software.

Ability to communicate cross-functionally with stakeholders in all job levels.
Ability to manage relationships, priorities and timelines with multiple stakeholders. - Familiarity with collaboration tools, such as Outlook, Zoom, SLACK, Box, SmartSheet and Asana.
- Ability to prioritize and quickly adapt to change with creative problem-solving skills.
- Team oriented individual with willingness to take initiative, be proactive and get things done, but also able to work independently.
- Effective project management skills, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects and complex timelines.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and web applications.
- Knowledge of learning and development field.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to small and large groups in a complex and highly diverse workplace.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask, shifting between multiple priorities and tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, writing by hand, sort/file paperwork, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, operate foot and/or hand controls.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $29.81 – $46.15 per hour.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
