The marketing intern will help cultivate the innovative film culture at Juming Delmas Studios by assembling recorded footage into a finished product that matches the director’s and/or corporate client’s vision. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, close attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our marketing team to support various initiatives and help promote our services to a wider audience.
About the Role:
Manage Content Creation & Scheduling
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trending topics and opportunities for engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling visual and written content such as graphics, videos, blog posts, and newsletters to promote upcoming film releases, events, and company initiatives.
- Proofing & Editing of above mentioned tasks
- Grow the online presence of the organization and its brand
- Interact with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Market Research:
- Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies to provide insights that inform marketing decisions.
- Stay updated on current events and pop culture relevant to the film industry.
- Create reports for weekly marketing analytics for social media, press releases, websites, and other graphic platforms.
- Track weekly analytics and statistical information for stakeholders
- Identify potential brand partnerships, influencers, and collaborators to expand the company’s reach and amplify marketing efforts.
Marketing Strategy:
- Creation of budget for marketing campaigns
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote film releases, special screenings, and other events.
- Assist in tracking campaign performance and analyzing metrics to optimize future strategies.
- Consolidate analytics from past year to estimate future needs
- Develop an annual marketing strategy based on the effectiveness of past campaigns, future trends, and current needs of the organization to maintain brand awareness
- Create and launch campaigns
Administrative::
- Support the planning and execution of promotional events, film premieres, and screenings.
- Assist with logistical tasks such as venue selection, guest list management, and on-site coordination.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations. Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Working towards or completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Preferably in Marketing and Communications, or film studies.
- 1 year of marketing experience
- A personal laptop
- Working knowledge in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools such as Canva
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
- Passion for the film and entertainment industry.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in marketing or related field is a plus
