Trusted Care Foundation (TCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to innovative healthcare solutions that address today’s most significant healthcare challenges and the growing healthcare workforce shortage. TCF’s mission is driven by volunteerism, with a primary focus on engaging young people – especially college-aged students – who are interested in healthcare and helping others. Through its programs, TCF aims to connect young people with resources, training, and volunteer opportunities to make a positive impact and inspire them to pursue health-related professions.

TCF designs and implements health programs in partnership with student advisors. The current portfolio of programs addresses timely healthcare issues, including but not limited to: Leadership and Advocacy, Mental and Behavioral Health, Substance Use Prevention, Technology and AI for Healthcare, and Addressing Food Insecurity.

TCF is looking for college students to join our Community Impact Network, a nationwide group of students interested in skills-based, career-building opportunities in healthcare. The foundation is partnered with the Virginia Department of Health, the Virginia Mental Health Access Program, multiple American Academy of Pediatrics state chapters, and three past National Academy of Pediatrics presidents.

  • All opportunities are FREE for students.
  • Connect with top professionals in the field.
  • Build your resume and gain valuable experience.
  • Virtual and in-person opportunities.
  • Some programs include paid stipends.
