We are seeking candidates with experience in immunology, molecular biology, flow cytometry, cell culture work and preclinical tumor models. Self-motivated and creative individuals with a track record in the field of immunology/tumor immunology and/or oncology, with relevant publications and an interest in translational opportunities should apply. Successful candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Independently design, plan, and perform complex anti-tumor efficacy studies in mice including dosing (IV, SC, IP) and tumor growth monitoring.
  • Dissection of tumors / organs for immune cell isolation and subsequent analysis.
  • Design flow cytometry (FACS) complex panels and perform FACS analysis on immune cells isolated from tumors and tissues.
  • Analyze data using biological and statistical software such as Flowjo, Prism, Excel, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the company.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Synthesize results across experiments and programs in PowerPoint presentations and present to multi-disciplinary colleagues and senior management, including clinical teams.

  • Ability to design and perform complex in vivo experiments utilizing tumor models in mice.

– Experienced in isolation and characterization of primary immune cells from murine tissues/tumors and human blood.

– Experienced in cell culture (both primary cells and established cell lines) and transfection; experience with viral transduction is a plus.

– Extensive knowledge and practical experience with advanced flow cytometry is a must, including complex panel design for cell surface and intracellular staining, data acquisition and analysis.

  • Skilled in a variety of in vitro/ex vivo immune cell-based assays, including planning, execution, analysis and record keeping.
  • Experience with T cells, DC/macrophage-based functional assays is highly preferred.
  • Experience with RNAseq and/or single cell RNAseq experimentation is highly preferred.

Core Competencies:

  • Expertise in cellular and molecular immunology
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize.
  • Demonstrated creativity and independency.
