Regulatory Affairs Internship

Fall 2026: August – December

15-25 hours per week

Make an Impact with Missouri Farm Bureau!

Are you passionate about agriculture, law, or public policy? Missouri Farm Bureau is offering a unique opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented student to gain hands-on experience in regulatory and legislative affairs. As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will play a vital role in helping protect and advance the interests of Missouri’s farmers and ranchers at both the state and federal levels.

What You’ll Do:
Join our dynamic Legislative Affairs team to support our advocacy efforts by:
• Monitoring and analyzing regulations from agencies such as the U.S. EPA, USDA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Missouri state agencies.
• Attending regulatory meetings and assisting in drafting comment letters and policy communications.
• Conducting legal and legislative research; writing memos, white papers, and newsletter content.
• Assisting with MOFB’s internal policy development and supporting key projects alongside our staff in Jefferson City and Washington D.C.

What You Bring:
• A college student (or law student) with at least one year of coursework completed.
• Studying Agriculture, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; research or legislative experience is a plus but not required.

Why Join MOFB?
This internship is more than just experience – it’s a front-row seat to the policy-making process and a chance to work with professionals and leaders dedicated to Missouri agriculture. You’ll grow your network, strengthen your policy knowledge, and contribute to real-world issues that impact the agricultural community.
