INROADS (www.inroads.org) provides undergraduate students with academic and career advisement and exposure to Corporate America through paid summer internships with Fortune 500 companies.
INROADS has graduated over 35,000 talented youth from interns to full-time managerial jobs with over 1,000 major companies. On average, INROADS has a 83% job offer rate. We offer students access to Fortune 500 companies as well as professional, managerial training and coaching to ensure their success. We are launching careers and community leaders. We do this by recruiting dedicated undergraduate students with at least a 3.0 GPA, 1 summer left before graduation, a career interest in Business, Computers, Engineering, Finance, Marketing and STEM.
Internship responsibilities depend on area of study and position but INROADERS are provided on the job training, corporate mentoring, challenging projects. Internships are 8-10 weeks and include performance reviews where strengths and areas of development ar discussed. In addition to the full time M-F internship, INROADERS will also participate in INROADS leadership development workshops and throughout the year have monthly coaching sessions with their assigned INROADS mentor.
