Indeed’s Associate Product Manager (APM) Leadership Program embodies the broader company culture at a heightened and accelerated level. APMs at Indeed are entrepreneurs from day one, leaders who seek the critical information needed to define an intelligent product roadmap and work with teams across the company to bring their vision to life.
You’ll spend your first three months in Indeed University—our innovative onboarding program for recent grads. You’ll have the opportunity to prototype, build, and pitch a new product idea within your first three months, and will either continue owning your newly created product or begin managing an established product end-to-end throughout your first year, before rotating to lead a high-profile product your second year.
With great power comes great responsibility and lots of continuous learning. To support your accelerated transformation into a Product Management leader, you and your APM class will manage high-impact products that challenge you, be given quality time with Indeed’s Executive Team, have access to a network of dedicated mentors, and travel and engage with users across the country & around the world to understand global needs.
You will also work closely with cross-functional teams that you—as a Product Management leader—will partner with consistently throughout your career. You will build basic skills in those disciplines, and increase your ability to empathize with and understand what those teams need from Product Managers for a successful partnership to thrive. You will learn to evolve your strengths and style of leadership to grow as an influencer, strategic thinker, decisive data capturer / interpreter, storyteller, resource manager, and so much more!
In addition to the resources we provide APMs, we will empower you to identify additional resources (both internal and external) that will accelerate your learning and development as a Product Leader. Validate ideas by performing experiments and analyzing the results.
In short, as an Indeed APM, you will:
- Build products that help people get jobs and/or help employers make hires
