As a Medical Assistant intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students/residents diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and individuals with a trauma background. Latham Centers offers medical assisting internships for individuals in a residential program which may include medical records upkeep, booking and attending medical appointments, and communicating with nursing staff and parents/guardians. Requirements include a High School degree or GED, and you must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff.
