EF Education First is proud to offer a Cooperative Education Program (co-op) in partnership with a student’s college or university, giving students the opportunity to align their academic and future career goals with full time or part time work experience for a select period of time.
EF is currently offering a multitude of co-ops across our travel, language, and education businesses in sales, customer service, operations, finance, and marketing.
Accounting Co-Op
Educational Tours
M-F, 40hrs per week
July – Dec 2024
As an Accounting Co-op you will gain:
– Real-world accounting experience
– Increased knowledge of finance and accounting principles
– Exposure to accounting software and electronic invoicing systems
You will be assigned to a team within the organization that best fits your skills and interests. Depending on the team, your role could include any of the following responsibilities:
- Accounting: Ensure the accuracy of financial information with the tools and training provided.
- Analytics: Contribute to financial analysis and reports to help drive business decisions.
- Reporting: Be responsible for ledger entries affecting both customer (accounts receivable) and vendor (accounts payable).
- Special Projects: Assist accounting and finance managers with special projects.
Requirements:
- Passionate about EF’s mission
- Coursework in finance or accounting
- Prior quantitative experience, whether it be a past co-op, coursework, or summer job.
- Focused and highly detail oriented
- Confident and outgoing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive problem solver
EF Boston Co-Op Development Program
As a co-op at EF Boston you’ll participate in our Co-Op development program, designed specifically for undergraduates in our North American headquarters located along the Charles River.
EF’s co-op program includes 3 building blocks: LEARN, BUILD & DRIVE.
LEARN business acumen and professional development skills.
BUILD a worldwide network of leaders, mentors, and peers.
DRIVE projects that have a global impact.
